About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Managing external partner relationships among the Third-Party Administrators (TPA) and Self-Administered joint administered arrangement (JAA) payors
  • Developing new business areas which complement existing offerings
  • Formulating strategies for both new and existing businesses
  • Monitoring and analyzing product lines to help determine optimal strategy
  • Providing research, analysis and recommendations for strategic plans
  • Acquiring data/information on market, industry, economic, and competitive conditions
  • Supporting operational excellence, BCBSA compliance, onboarding, new client implementation support
  • Collaborating with internal Anthem operational teams
  • Regularly leveraging data & analytics to create reports for JAA payors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of business development experience
  • Knowledge and experience within Joint Administered Arrangement (JAA)
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High proficiency with data & analytics
  • EST/CST candidates preferred
