About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order
Completes admission process as directed by Center Director
Performs physical assessment on each patient
Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record
Reports significant changes or observations to the Center Director
Maintains patient confidentiality by abiding by HIPAA laws
Evaluates the patient’s response to therapy
Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan
Participates in Quality Improvement program
Ensures medication orders are complete and accurate
Participates in On-Call program
Provides clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires MS in Nursing
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
Experience with IVs required
Current NP license to practice
Active Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
Multi-state licensure if providing services in multiple states
Satisfactory completion of Tuberculosis test required
Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver
