Assess member needs to ensure access to medically necessary behavioral healthcare in a cost effective setting
Refers cases to Peer Reviewers as appropriate
Performs psychiatric and substance abuse assessment coordination and case planning

Requirements

What you’ll need

MA/MS in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field, or a degree in nursing
minimum of 3 years of experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment
Current active unrestricted license (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, RN or Clinical Psychologist)
Prior Utilization Management/Case Management experience with complex psychiatric/substance abuse cases is preferred
Bilingual English-Spanish is highly preferred
Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office and EMR) and comfortable using multiple screens simultaneously
