Key responsibilities & impact

identifying, negotiating and managing pharmaceutical contracts
driving rebate revenue opportunities for medical and/or pharmacy drugs
managing profitable business relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers
identifying and obtaining new medical drug contracts
reviewing and analyzing complex medical drug claims
partnering with internal rebate operations teams
collaborating with finance, analytics, pharmacy, and policy teams
participating in discussions and negotiations with pharmaceutical manufacturers
supporting issue resolution related to rebate discrepancies

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree in a related field
minimum of 8 years contract negotiation and sales experience
strong knowledge of medical drugs, specialty pharmaceuticals, rebate contracting
experience working within a PBM, health plan, or pharmaceutical manufacturer environment
advanced analytical and financial skills
experience utilizing large medical and pharmacy claims datasets
experience supporting rebate operations including contract negotiation, invoicing, collections reconciliation
intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
