Key responsibilities & impact

providing legal support for provider contract negotiations in multiple states
Draft contract templates and amendments
Responsible for filing of provider contract templates with state regulators
Serves as a seasoned resource and may lead and/or coach other support staff
Prepares and evaluates legal documentation
Conducts legal research and analysis
Performs fact checking, gathering documents, and researching inquiries
Monitors state and federal legislation affecting the corporation

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or equivalent
Paralegal Certification or an AA/AS/BA/BS in a related field
minimum of 10 years of legal or related experience
Provider Contracting experience preferred
Experience in managed care or healthcare industry preferred
A law degree is desirable but not required
