About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting all month-close functions, including closing, analysis, reporting.
Providing project leadership.
Reviewing and preparing interpretation of accounting transactions and results.
Preparing financial, business and process presentations.
Identifying complex accounting problems or issues related to workflow processes, researching solutions, and implementing corrective steps to achieve higher level of operational efficiency.
Coordinating, managing and leading complex projects and processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years accounting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Advanced Excel proficiency preferred.
Experience with Power Query and advanced digital capabilities (chatGPT) preferred.
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Previous work experience with month end close processes, account reconciliation and statutory accounting principles preferred.
