About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for complex collection activities related to past due health insurance premiums and/or claims
- Follows established guidelines to collect past due insurance premiums
- Researches validity of past due and/or disputed debt
- Generates demand letters
- Prepares reports reflecting status of credit and collection activities for management review
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial debt collection experience
- Experience with health care insurance preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare and Anthem appeals recommended
