About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Works closely with leadership to oversee the sales efforts.
- Establishes relationships with functional areas within the company and partners with key stakeholders.
- Leads and mentors sales team by developing key growth action strategies, tactics, and action plans.
- Achieves projected regional sales targets and objectives as they pertain to overall business goals.
- Achieves sales effectiveness by meeting or surpassing gross profit and referral goals.
- Communicates information and issues regarding competitors and/or business to leadership.
- Develops and executes sales meetings.
- Assists in formulating market strategy to include marketing plans and materials.
- Participates in and/or leads various training programs offered by the company and/or outside organizations.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 7 years experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Minimum of 5 years healthcare experience with a minimum 3 years in a leadership role strongly preferred.
- Background in sales with emphasis on specialty pharmacy strongly preferred.
- Excellent managerial and leadership skills strongly preferred.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and adaptability highly preferred.
- Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive level stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making preferred.
- Experience in project execution, project management and process improvement strongly preferred.
- Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties strongly preferred.
- Proficient of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) strongly preferred.
