About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- case management and collaboration with healthcare providers and members
- promote quality member outcomes and effective use of resources
- interpretation of moderately complex specialty drug prior authorization requests
- assess the medical necessity of outpatient specialty drug administration
- work with Pharmacists and Medical Directors
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS in a health related field
- minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Current, active unrestricted RN license
- Outpatient specialty drug infusion experience preferred
- Site of care and/or specialty drug review experience preferred
- Post-service reviews or Appeals reviews preferred
- Experience working with specialty drugs strongly preferred
