About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead identification, development, and execution of Cost of Care strategic initiatives with executives and business unit senior management.
- Report project status to senior leadership.
- Partner with market and enterprise leadership by providing ongoing feedback on program performance, identifying drivers of success, and delivering insights into future opportunities for program enhancements or expansion.
- Support day-to-day activities for a team of advanced analysts, delivering reporting and data analytics to achieve strategic objectives.
- Develop and sustain a high-performing team through training and effective organizational development practices; responsible for hiring, coaching, counseling, and evaluating the performance of direct reports.
- Implement the policies, practices, and procedures of the company and business units supported.
- Expand and strengthen relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Healthcare Administration
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in broad-based, analytically oriented, managed care payor or provider environment
- Experience must include project management, CMS payment methodology application, and financial/economic business modeling
- Preferred: Graduate degree in a research-oriented discipline (Health Services Research, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Statistics, Applied Mathematics)
- Prior leadership or management experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in program evaluation, foundational health services and health economics research, opportunity analysis, and general analytic consulting to stakeholders and partners.
- Strong communication skills, including facilitation, consultation, negotiation, and persuasion.
