About the role

  • Analyze complex business problems and analyze healthcare, business system, and financial data
  • Identify patterns of suspicious activity, outliers, anomalies and other risk issues
  • Apply strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction, quantification, analysis, reporting, and ETL
  • Develop complex databases, queries, and reports
  • Utilize multiple corporate data repositories including SQL Server and Oracle databases
  • Function as a liaison between departments to analyze data and communicate findings

Requirements

  • BA/BS in computer science, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, business administration, information systems, operation research, accounting or related analytical discipline
  • minimum of 3 years related experience in statistics, actuarial analysis or medical profiling
  • strong knowledge of SQL (e.g. MS Access, VBA, T-SQL, or PL/SQL)
  • demonstrated experience in developing MS Access databases and SQL Server solutions
