About the role
- Overseeing and monitoring the day-to-day workflow of clinical support staff
- Serving as a subject matter expert in administrative and operational processes
- Assisting in problem solving complex issues and cases
- Answering calls from providers and members and responding to inquiries
- Overseeing out of network and chart review administrative processes
- Collaborating with internal departments on special projects and reporting
- Hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and evaluating performance of direct reports
Requirements
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the health field or equivalent background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Experience in working with and pulling data
- BA/BS degree in health or human services preferred
- 6 to 12 months of managerial and/or supervisory experience preferred
