About the role
- Managing psychiatric or autism facility-based and outpatient professional treatment health benefits
- Assessing member needs to ensure access to medically necessary quality behavioral healthcare
- Referring cases to Peer Reviewers as appropriate
- Coordinating implementation, case planning, monitoring, and evaluation to promote quality member outcomes
- Assisting with more complex cases and participating in inter and intradepartmental teams, projects, and initiatives
Requirements
- MA/MS in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field, or a nursing degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment
- Current active unrestricted license such as LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LBA, LMFT, RN, or Clinical Psychologist
- Previous experience in case management/utilization management with complex psychiatric/substance abuse cases
- Prior managed care experience
- BCBA and LBA is STRONGLY PREFERRED
