About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and promote safe work practices across active construction projects
Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific safety plans
Conduct site safety observations, audits, and risk assessments
Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and one-on-one coaching
Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory safety requirements
Support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions
Analyze safety performance data and identify opportunities for improvement
Build strong relationships with project teams, contractors, and client representatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Five (5) years of construction safety management experience
At least 1 year of experience in Electric Transmission & Distribution (ET&D) or high voltage construction safety management
Have, or be willing to obtain, a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) Certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
OSHA 30 (Construction) trained and current training in First Aid, CPR, and AED
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and influence safe behaviors in the field
Ability to work in outdoor construction environments and travel or relocate as needed
