About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

On-site field construction manager role
Responsible for actual construction of the project
Safety supervision, quality control/quality assurance supervision
Daily on-site reporting
Environmental compliance inspection
Reports directly to the project manager and Manager of Quality Assurance

Requirements

What you’ll need

OSHA 30 trained or MSHA equivalent
Minimum 10 years' experience in transmission line or substation construction
Understanding of high and medium voltage electrical transmission/substation/distribution systems
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint and ftp protocol software
Frequent travel is expected
Successful applicant will be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking
Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future
