About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

On-site field construction manager role for electrical substations and underground HV duct bank installation
Responsible for safety supervision, quality control/quality assurance supervision, daily on-site reporting, and environmental compliance inspection
Directly reports to the project manager for all project specific issues
Reports to the Manager of Quality Assurance for assignments to projects, for general installation practices and inspection processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

OSHA 30 trained or MSHA equivalent
Minimum 10 years' experience in transmission line or substation construction
Understanding of high and medium voltage electrical transmission/substation/distribution systems
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint and ftp protocol software
Frequent travel is expected
