Key responsibilities & impact

Learn critical skills related to means and methods used in construction of electrical substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy systems
Acquire a strong understanding of daily reporting, quality assurance/control, environmental compliance, and safety compliance
Stand in for the Field Construction Manager if needed
Assist the FCM with administrative duties associated with the project
Provide secondary supervision of subcontractors’ activities
Support safety, quality control/quality assurance, daily reporting, and environmental compliance inspections

Requirements

What you’ll need

Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Provide clear leadership for all subcontractors involved in the execution of the project
Have a positive attitude and be able to work cooperatively with clients, colleagues, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
Have a sense of urgency and ability to push projects forward without sacrificing quality or safety
Subject to client-mandated drug and background checking
Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future
