Field Safety Manager
Electrical Consultants, Inc.Field Safety Manager responsible for leading safety initiatives at EPC Services Company's construction projects. Working to create safe and efficient worksites in a dynamic environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead project safety initiatives, conduct inspections and audits, provide training and coaching, and foster a culture of proactive safety awareness
- Partner with Construction and Project Managers to enhance safety compliance and foster a Zero Harm safety culture
- Collect and analyze leading indicator data to detect trends and implement measures to continuously improve project safety performance and culture
- Be the go-to safety resource for EPCS team members and clients, ensuring adherence to safety standards and industry best practices on all EPCS construction projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- OSHA 30 trained (or MSHA equivalent) and current training in First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Bachelor’s degree in safety or a professional safety certification (e.g., CUSP, CSP), or at least 5 years of safety management experience
- Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) Certification is preferred
- Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) experience a plus
- Strong experience with application-based safety management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to relocate and reside near the project site
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with clients and contractors
