About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain strong, service-based relationships with livestock clients
  • Coordinate and conduct on-farm livestock assessments and prepare sale listings
  • Facilitate livestock sales through auctions, paddock sales, feedlot programs, or online platforms
  • Provide accurate market insights and price expectations to clients
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across agency, finance, insurance, and retail
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of livestock markets, trends, and seasonal factors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in livestock handling (e.g. station/ feedlot work) or sales processing
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and client service skills
  • The ability to assess livestock condition and value with accuracy
  • A current driver’s licence and selling license (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A genuine passion for rural communities and the agriculture industry
  • Ability to provide proof of Q-Fever vaccination or immunity, or willingness to obtain
