About the role
- Take full product ownership in one cross-functional team, working closely with developers, designers, and domain experts (including power engineers).
- Clarify product direction, priorities, and value hypotheses, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.
- Drive structured, hypothesis-driven product development, from insight and discovery to delivery and iteration.
- Own and maintain the product roadmap, balancing short-term progress with long-term ambition.
- Strengthen prioritisation principles and decision-making structures within and across teams.
- Contribute to more conscious portfolio management in collaboration with the Head of Product and leadership.
- Establish clearer roles, responsibilities, and processes within product teams.
- Facilitate insight work, user dialogue, and validation to ensure we build what truly matters.
- Support and elevate other Product Owners, contributing to shared learning, stronger methodology, and increased product maturity across ElBits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience within product development, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Experience taking products from PoC to mature, scalable solutions, navigating complexity along the way.
- Strong understanding of product methodologies, such as lean/agile, hypothesis-driven development, and Design Thinking.
- Experience owning and driving roadmaps, prioritisation, and value creation.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (engineering, design, domain experts).
- Ability to gather and translate user insight into clear product decisions.
- Experience building or contributing to structured product practices within an organisation.
- Motivation to deeply understand the needs of Norwegian grid companies and immerse yourself in a complex domain.
- It’s an advantage if you also have: Experience from the energy sector or other regulated industries.
- Experience with UX, discovery and/or user stories.
- Experience contributing to portfolio-level discussions.
