About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Ensure ongoing financial accounting, including account reconciliations
Establish and assess provisions and accruals
Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with commercial law requirements and maintain proper documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial vocational training or equivalent qualification
Further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or relevant professional experience
Solid knowledge of financial accounting in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
Experience in general ledger and subledger accounting
