About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop effective and efficient robotic software solutions using different technology stacks, algorithms, and open source software
- Work with worldwide teams to create technology for the robotics industry
- Contribute to projects involving mobile robot navigation, indoor and outdoor localization, fleet management, mission planning and control, high-performance software testing, manipulators, computer vision, and simulation
- Engage in designing and implementing challenging problems for customers, R&D, and internal technology interest groups
- Share technology passion and professionalism with peers
- Train yourself and other peers within the internal tech dojo
- Contribute high-quality software to open source projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Located in the European Union
- Authorized to work in Europe without sponsorship and have a valid work permit
- 2+ years of strong experience with ROS or ROS 2
- 2+ years of strong experience coding with modern C++ (17 and beyond) and Python 3
- Experience using Docker
- Degree (BSc., MSc. or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field to robotics
- Familiarity with VSLAM and AI computer vision
- Ability to tackle mid-sized software development tasks independently
- Ability to engage in technical implementation conversations and make proposals
- Proficient in English and comfortable engaging in technical discussions and presentations
