About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership and coordination for EIT Health’s engagement with EIT Health members and EU Member State ecosystems within the Central region
Develop and maintain a strong overview of the region’s health innovation landscape
Identify, analyze and report regional opportunities and challenges
Ensure that health innovation mechanisms, priorities and support within the region are understood and incorporated into EIT Health planning and programme offerings
Enable collaboration between EIT Health and regional members and ecosystem stakeholders
Identify and negotiate opportunities for enhanced EIT Health participation in regionally led activities
Act as a senior EIT Health representative in the region, providing leadership and line management for assigned team members
Identify and report relevant regional impact for dissemination through EIT Health communication channels

Requirements

What you’ll need

8–10+ years of management experience
Proven experience managing stakeholders at a senior level
Demonstrated extensive network of contacts within the health innovation ecosystem
Proven experience in Business Development / Membership Recruitment and Key Account Management, ideally within a membership organisation
Strong understanding of, and experience in, at least one relevant member state health innovation ecosystem, preferably Germany, Austria or the Netherlands
Knowledge of public funding opportunities at regional and EU levels
Strong understanding of the innovation process in health
Ability to identify and activate synergies and opportunities aligned with EIT Health’s needs
