About the role
- lead business development efforts for AI consulting services
- engage C-suite executives, navigate complex buying cycles, and translate technical AI capabilities into strategic business value
- develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers through industry events, thought leadership, and strategic outreach
- conduct high-level discovery calls to understand business challenges, qualify opportunities, and advance prospects through the sales pipeline
- partner with technical teams to translate client needs into compelling proposals
- stay current on AI trends and emerging technologies to position our services effectively
- maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, accurately forecast revenue, and consistently meet/exceed sales targets
- contribute to content development, speak at events, and represent the firm as an AI advisory expert
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree required
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in professional services, consulting, or technology solutions
- Business-level understanding of AI: Familiarity with AI/ML applications, use cases across industries, and the strategic implications for organizations
- Exceptional executive presence: Polished communication skills, confidence in C-suite settings, and ability to command a room
- Consultative selling approach: Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Proven track record closing deals with senior executives
- Background in consulting, advisory services, or enterprise software sales
- Experience selling emerging technology solutions (AI, data analytics, cloud transformation)
- Existing network within target industries
- Track record of $1M+ annual sales achievement
