About the role
- Contribute to shaping a future-oriented overall architecture
- Define technical direction and further develop the team
- Mentor team members on-site and remotely
- Monitor software quality
- Plan and coordinate own subprojects
- Take responsibility for subprojects in new and ongoing initiatives
- (Co-)develop IT business applications and microservices with a focus on Java backend and APIs
- Maintain close coordination with IT colleagues and business departments
Requirements
- Relevant academic background
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role
- Excellent knowledge of development with Spring Boot
- Practical experience with web services (REST)
- Experience with OpenAPI / Swagger
- Experience with relational databases
- Project management skills are an advantage
- Very high standard for code quality
- Strong self-motivation and interest in new technologies
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Very good German and English skills; additional languages are a plus
