About the role
- Technical specialist responsible for a partial product range and for supporting the entire product lifecycle
- Technical maintenance and further development of existing products
- Conducting international tenders, comparing offers and supporting price and contract negotiations
- Planning packaging, preparing product inquiries and presentations, and implementing new product launches
- Close collaboration with Quality Management, Marketing, Sales and testing laboratories
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or business administration or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a technical environment or in product management for consumer goods
- Basic understanding of quality assurance, technical patents and project management
- Experience in sourcing, ideally including sourcing from Asia
- Analytical, structured, independent and responsible working style
- Very good written and spoken English
- Confident user of MS Office
- Willingness to travel for national and international trade fairs as well as supplier and production visits
