Collaborate with internal customers and external suppliers, crafting strategies to ensure a robust and efficient supply chain
Partner with internal customers and Global Procurement to develop and implement category strategies and related projects, including cost reduction, supply base optimization and contract negotiation
Source solutions and services for Facilities Site Services and various service offerings
Conduct RFx activities and apply demand management
Build category strategies to drive savings, value, assurance of supply, quality and supplier performance within your assigned categories
Identify and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and partner with our Legal team to complete contracts
Manage Micron’s relationship with key suppliers and hold suppliers accountable, resolving issues, and improving supplier performance
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years experience in strategic sourcing or similar roles preferred
Experience in negotiations and willingness to engage in critical conversations and advocate for Micron's interests
Experience in contract redlining/reviewing (including Service Agreements and Statements of Work)
Strong problem-solving skills and diligent
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics or similar fields of study, preferred
Ability to independently work well in a dynamic environment that requires a high degree of multitasking with minimal direction
Prior semiconductor experience
