Senior Reticle Equipment Engineer
EightfoldSenior Reticle Equipment Engineer responsible for sustaining reticle equipment performance in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. Collaborating to ensure operational excellence and drive innovations in fab performance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support equipment installation, qualification, and production ramp for reticle inspection tools, stockers, cleaning systems, and pod washers
- Monitor tool performance, uptime, and process stability, and lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts
- Collaborate with manufacturing, photolithography, automation, IT, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve operations
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and availability
- Drive continuous improvement in reticle quality, defectivity reduction, cycle time, and cost efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience with photomask or reticle-related equipment
- Knowledge of EUV/DUV reticle processes and sensitivity to particles and defects affecting reticle handling
- Demonstrated problem-solving and data analysis skills with the ability to lead investigations and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cleanroom environment and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment (preferred)
- Experience with mask inspection tools such as KLA SL6xx platforms, SUSS MaskTrack systems, or Brooks stockers (preferred)
- Familiarity with SPC, defect monitoring, and automation systems such as AMHS or MES (preferred)
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments or fab startup and expansion activities (preferred)
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve engineering productivity and workflows (preferred)
