About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as an on-site customer enablement engineer, supporting joint system evaluation, silicon bring-up, and early platform integration activities for LPDDR products
  • Provide direct, hands-on technical support through face-to-face discussions, lab debug, and rapid issue resolution
  • Drive early identification and mitigation of system-level risks related to signal integrity, power, timing margins, performance, and reliability
  • Serve as a primary technical interface between Micron and the customer for LPDDR engineering topics
  • Clearly communicate Micron LPDDR architecture, design intent, and silicon behavior to customer system and silicon teams
  • Translate customer system observations and requirements into actionable engineering inputs for Micron internal teams
  • Prepare concise technical summaries, debug reports, and customer-facing documentation to support alignment and decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in DRAM or memory product engineering, design, or system-level support roles
  • Deep technical understanding of DRAM architecture, LPDDR products, and memory subsystem behavior
  • Proven experience providing direct customer support, including on-site or resident engineering roles
  • Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in system-level debug and failure analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage directly and effectively with customer engineers
  • Ability to work independently and drive complex, cross-functional issues to closure
  • Japanese communication skill to communicate LPDDR engineering in Micron Japan
