About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as an on-site customer enablement engineer, supporting joint system evaluation, silicon bring-up, and early platform integration activities for LPDDR products
Provide direct, hands-on technical support through face-to-face discussions, lab debug, and rapid issue resolution
Drive early identification and mitigation of system-level risks related to signal integrity, power, timing margins, performance, and reliability
Serve as a primary technical interface between Micron and the customer for LPDDR engineering topics
Clearly communicate Micron LPDDR architecture, design intent, and silicon behavior to customer system and silicon teams
Translate customer system observations and requirements into actionable engineering inputs for Micron internal teams
Prepare concise technical summaries, debug reports, and customer-facing documentation to support alignment and decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in DRAM or memory product engineering, design, or system-level support roles
Deep technical understanding of DRAM architecture, LPDDR products, and memory subsystem behavior
Proven experience providing direct customer support, including on-site or resident engineering roles
Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in system-level debug and failure analysis
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage directly and effectively with customer engineers
Ability to work independently and drive complex, cross-functional issues to closure
Japanese communication skill to communicate LPDDR engineering in Micron Japan
