About the role
- Use state-of-the-art defect detection equipment and processes to troubleshoot and solve inline defect and process issues.
- Collaborate with overseas manufacturing facilities for alignment, transfer technology to HVM and ensure RDA has inline visibility to defects to prevent excursion.
- Support experimentation, data analysis, baseline health metrics, and defect improvement.
- Review and analyze process flows looking for defect anomalies and quarantining process tools that are out of control.
- Recognize, identify, and raise awareness of process anomalies.
- Use inline process signals to drive process improvements.
- Build and improve upon techniques and identify new ways to use existing tools in order to identify relevant process issues.
- Participate in technical meetings and synthesize new opportunities or novel approaches.
- Collaborate with the global network to develop best known methods and maintain alignment between sites.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field or Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, RDA, or metrology within a 300mm fabrication environment.
- Proactive and passionate about learning (training and coursework)
- Creative problem solving and innovative solutions
- Process anomalies investigation, root cause analysis, data manipulation
- Excellent technical, communication, and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Preference for experience with metrology/RDA inspection related processing
