E-Commerce Marketplace Manager – Amazon, Otto

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You take on the strategic and operational management of our Amazon and Otto channels — you have full revenue responsibility and steer both platforms on a clear growth trajectory
- You continuously optimize our brand presence and the digital shopping experience to take conversion rates to the next level
- You maintain, nurture and optimize existing listings and support new product launches operationally on both platforms
- You analyze our KPIs, derive precise action recommendations and implement them directly
- You constantly monitor our keyword rankings and proactively ensure we stay ahead
- You manage our advertising budget and run PPC campaigns so efficiently that even Scrooge McDuck would be jealous
- Listing suspensions, flatfile errors or policy violations don’t faze you — you analyze the root cause and initiate immediate countermeasures
- You work closely with our compliance team to ensure all Amazon requirements are implemented promptly and correctly
- You conduct research and potential analyses for new products and drive our expansion into new markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- E‑commerce experience: You already have solid experience in marketplace management on Amazon and ideally Otto. Important: in the Amazon setup you should have experience as a Seller (not exclusively as a Vendor)
- Numbers person with business sense: You have strong analytical skills and excellent commercial/business understanding
- E‑commerce for you is more than creating listings: You understand complex processes from market research to supplier contact and keep the whole business in view
- MacGyver mentality: You have a high problem‑solving aptitude
- Team player with responsibility: You work closely with other departments and enjoy taking real responsibility
- Sales-driven: You don’t just want to manage — you want to sell and grow revenue
- Insatiable curiosity: The marketplace world moves, it seems, three times faster than the rest of the planet
- Ideally you live within approximately a 3‑hour travel radius of Schwäbisch Hall
