About the role
- Provide your technical, organizational and regulatory expertise to the project Safety and FDMS leads.
- Prepare or contribute to DDS, DI, DPS, DCS, DAE, DS documents required for certification.
- Conduct, maintain or review a variety of studies (PMS, APR, ARI, ARO, RSD, FDMS allocations, passenger safety analyses in tunnels, shunting areas, worksite safety, etc.).
- Verify the compliance of studies and reports produced by contract holders (PAS, FMEA, LPCSS, EEVE, EEVM…).
- Participate in drafting technical reports and identify new opportunities to enrich the FDMS offering.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (general engineering or electrical engineering); specialization in dependability/safety engineering is an asset.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in FDMS on engineering projects (detailed design, owner’s engineering, construction companies, service providers).
- Strong practical knowledge of regulatory procedures (Interoperability Directive, MSC, French decrees 2017-439, 2017-440, 2019-525) and standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, EN 50716, NFPA 130…).
- Fluent English required; Spanish appreciated for work on international projects.
- Technical leadership, rigor and a collaborative mindset; interest in business development and client relations.
