About the role

  • You carry out design and sizing studies for new projects or renewals of railway telecommunication installations in wired or radio modes and low-current systems: CCTV (video surveillance), access control, timing/chronometry, dynamic passenger information displays, ticketing (fare collection), maintenance support systems, etc.
  • Preparation of technical dossiers at the preliminary study / feasibility and project stages
  • Site visit reports
  • Technical specifications for contractors
  • Financial estimates and project costing
  • Technical and financial reporting of your assignments
  • You participate in technical workshops and client meetings where you report on project progress and operation scheduling

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of railway telephony and wired transmission (copper and fiber optic)
  • Good knowledge of railway radio systems; knowledge of FRMCS-5G is a plus
  • Comfortable with project management, supervision and workload management
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; good technical writing ability
  • Autonomy, organizational skills, rigor and methodical approach
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team
  • Self-discipline and ability to self-monitor
