About the role

  • Support regulatory scoping for industrial projects involving new or existing installations, according to the nomenclature of Installations Classified for the Protection of the Environment (ICPE)
  • Perform corresponding risk analyses using various methods (HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA...)
  • Model hazardous phenomena (fire, explosion, toxic dispersion, etc.)
  • Prepare regulatory studies (applications for Environmental Authorization, including Hazard Studies, Environmental Impact or Incidence Assessments) related to industrial projects
  • Develop emergency plans (Internal Emergency Response Plan / Plan d'Opération Interne - POI, Fire Defense Plan / Plan de Défense Incendie - PDI)
  • Conduct regulatory compliance audits
  • Perform Quantified Risk Analyses (Quantitative Risk Assessment - QRA, Building Risk Assessment - BRA, Technological Risk Assessment - TRA)
  • Define and develop internal methods and tools.

Requirements

  • General engineering degree with specialization in industrial or environmental risks
  • 2 to 5 years' experience
  • Experience leading small projects
  • Proficiency with software and IT tools
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Curiosity, initiative, analytical synthesis skills and rigor.
