Business Development Manager – Event Industry
EggBusiness Development Manager driving new client opportunities and managing existing accounts for egg USA. Seeking to cultivate business in the events industry with a strategic partner approach.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and drive new business development for the US market, identifying, pursuing, and converting new client opportunities in line with egg ’s growth ambitions
- Build and activate your existing US client network (“black book”) to generate qualified leads and new brand opportunities
- Proactively prospect and open doors with decision-makers, positioning egg as a strategic partner for brand events and experiential marketing
- Represent and promote egg ’s brand, capabilities, and expertise within the US through meetings, presentations, and industry networking
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify growth opportunities and keep egg commercially relevant in US
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of won business and a strong client experience from pitch to delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years experience commercial role within events, hospitality, or marketing/communications
- An established network of relevant clients and decision-makers that can be actively leveraged to generate new business opportunities fast.
- Willing to travel across North America
- Strong ability to build relationships and open doors at senior levels
- Commercially sharp, with a strategic and curious mindset
- Strong communicator and storyteller - able to sell a vision, not just a scope
- Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in spoken and written English (No scrambled oeufs at Egg, svp.)
