About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct on-farm inspections to ensure compliance with Good Management Practices and verify hen inventory
  • Conduct audits for EFC’s national on-farm food safety program
  • Conduct audits for EFC’s Animal Care Program
  • Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and organization for both the interior and exterior of the vehicle
  • Manage work schedule by coordinating on-farm visits and office work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French
  • Specialized knowledge of HACCP-based food safety programs and auditing principles
  • Knowledge of food safety risks and regulations (Federal, Provincial and Local), EFC policies, proper on-farm procedures, poultry/agriculture industry
  • 2 – 3 years of Specialized Community College education in poultry/agriculture
  • Must have completed auditing courses
  • 2 – 5 years experience in the agriculture industry
