💰 $60,000 - $120,000 per year

About the role

  • Responsibilities include working with a team of Electrical Engineers and Design drafters to generate Electrical layout drawings for High Voltage Substations and / or Power Plants.
  • Responsibilities will include preparing the following drawings for substation or power plant facilities: General Arrangement Electrical Equipment Plans, Conduit/Cable Schedules, Electrical Details – Section views and elevations, Bill of Material, Conduit / Raceway Plans / Cable Tray/ Underground Ductbank, Lighting, Grounding, Power, Heat Tracing, etc.
  • Perform facility / substation walkdowns following client’s standards

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Previous work experience as Physical Designer in the Power Industry (substations / power plants)
  • Experience in 3D Modeling Plant 3D and/or Revit
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
