Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the firm’s tax department
Serve as the senior technical authority and driver of Tax Advisory Services growth
Develop the team and systems for operational excellence
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in tax returns and strategies
Foster team health with low turnover and high standards
Expand and deepen advisory practice across the client base
Retain and grow high-value client relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

CPA required; MS in Taxation strongly preferred
10+ years of public accounting experience with meaningful time in a leadership or review capacity
Mastery of tax strategy development. Ability to quickly diagnose a client’s situation and sketch out the tactics to mitigate their tax exposure
Deep fluency in individual and business taxation—1040s, 1120-S, 1065, multi-state, multi-entity structures
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at the advisory level
Experience managing or developing tax staff
Comfortable in a growing firm—you bring structure, not just headcount
