About the role
- Test the mobile application of a project expense management platform (iOS and Android).
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile app features.
- Ensure features like project budgeting, card payments, and receipt management work reliably.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality checks.
- Test app functionality across multiple devices and operating systems (iOS and Android).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA engineers to define test requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Recommend improvements to QA processes and automation strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automated QA Engineer for mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes and software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience testing financial or enterprise mobile apps is a strong advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
