About the role
- Design optimal technical solutions for our products and systems and take care of relevant documentation.
- Work with the software engineering team to optimise, simplify and manage our infrastructure and database modelling to run as efficiently as possible across large amounts of data.
- Work with the software engineering team to monitor the performance of the infrastructure and development workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure robust, scalable, and secure setup of all tools and services.
- Apply modern container and cluster technologies (Docker).
- Facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment practices to ensure a smooth and speedy delivery of features and fixes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the development team.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role, working as a full-stack developer.
- Significant experience with Laravel web application framework.
- Significant experience in Vue or equivalent experience in React, Angular, Svelte.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySql).
- Experience with PostGIS is a plus.
- Willingness to share your knowledge with others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with different teams within the organisation.
- Self-motivated player with experience in a start-up environment and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication & writing skills in English.
