About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a gas-phase polyethylene (GPPE) process technology design engineer for tuning during and after licensed plant startups
- Support continuous improvement of product, reactor technology, and capacity offerings, leading license bids from a technical standpoint worldwide
- Support process technology offerings and liaise with projects to ensure core technology is consistently applied
- Generate, standardize, and maintain technology guidelines and related documentation, including Commissioning Guidelines, Training Packages, and Project Manuals
- Serve as a company contact for product partners involved in ECIG licensed technology
- Act as a Senior Process Design Engineer on specified projects and proposals
- Apply GPPE process technology and operations knowledge to resolve complex engineering and design problems
- Participate in plant startup and warranty run initiatives, interpreting and refining reactor models using plant performance data
- Develop cost-effective CAPEX and OPEX improvements to ECIG's base GPPE offerings
- Ensure ECIG GPPE technology does not infringe third-party IP and that adequate protection exists for company offerings
- Ensure GPPE technology offerings meet safety, operability, and warranted performance requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is required
- 10+ years of experience in GPPE reactor modeling and/or GPPE reactor unit operation process engineering
- 5+ years of experience in GPPE plant operations preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced process simulation tools and engineering software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within time and budget constraints
- Open to international travel
- Currently authorized to work in the US without need for sponsorship
