About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work in research project teams, structuring questionnaire programming
Serve as a subject-matter expert in programming tools and pursue technical training on new features
Lead the programming team on research projects
Manage platform usage and vendor relationships
Lead, train, and execute questionnaire programming from start to finish
Ensure the programmed flow operates according to the research questionnaire
Validate logic and test the flow before submitting it for testing by other teams and clients
Ensure programming quality by guiding adjustments and correcting errors
Implement improvements to questionnaire flows
Set up project quotas
Direct or execute survey launches, prepare links and redirects, and verify the correct recording of interviews
Train and support other teams in best practices and in building complex logic with code
Support project, recruitment, and other research teams with data extraction, dashboards, tables, and platform-related activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience programming research questionnaires, including building, validating, and maintaining programming from start to finish
Experience with survey programming platforms, exploring their features, functionality, and best practices
Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising programming teams
Experience testing and validating questionnaires, identifying and correcting errors, and implementing improvements to logic and flows
Experience configuring and managing quotas and monitoring data collection through platforms
Experience launching surveys, configuring links and redirects, and validating the correct recording of interviews
Experience collaborating with project, recruitment, customer service, management, and client teams
Advanced proficiency with research survey/questionnaire programming tools and platforms
Knowledge of programming logic construction, including complex flows and conditional rules
Ability to use code to develop logic or functionality that cannot be implemented using a platform’s native features
Knowledge of programming testing, validation, and quality assurance
Knowledge of quotas, links, redirects, and survey launches
Familiarity with data extraction and building tables and dashboards is desirable
Interest in and ability to keep up with new features, tools, and technologies
Ability to lead, develop, and train programming professionals
Ability to serve as a technical reference
Ability to guide the development of complex logic and support the resolution of technical issues
Ability to organize priorities, track deadlines, and ensure delivery quality
Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented approach
Proactive in identifying issues, proposing improvements, and seeking new solutions
Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new tools and features quickly
Clear communication skills and the ability to translate business/project needs into technical solutions
Hands-on approach, with a willingness to program directly when necessary
