About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management in executing, monitoring, and maintaining the enterprise risk management program
- Lead enterprise risk management projects delegated by the Senior Director
- Maintain and lead the ongoing development of Enterprise Risk Scorecards
- Contribute to the annual enterprise risk assessment, company risk appetite statement, and associated risk tolerances
- Collaborate with management to design Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and manage KRI performance reporting for top enterprise risks
- Support coordination of risk assessments, including RCSAs and GRC application updates
- Create and distribute risk-based reports to management
- Produce reports for the ERM Committee, Risk & Security Committee, and Management Committee
- Create, maintain, format, and update reporting decks and presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, and system dashboards
- Record risk data in the company’s GRC application
- Create and maintain GRC system reports and assist with minor GRC system updates when necessary
- Support protection of the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field required
- Typically, five or more years of progressive risk professional experience required
- Three or more years of experience within the financial services industry
- Advanced knowledge and experience with analytic and reporting tools, especially Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Power Query
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Working knowledge and experience within a formal three-lines-of-defense program
- Experience with standard risk management frameworks, concepts, and practices
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with and obtain support across an organization, including Product Development, Legal/Compliance, Operations, IT, and Accounting/Finance
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Successful background and drug screen
- Professional certifications in Risk, Audit, Financial Analysis, and/or Strategic Disciplines such as CPA, CIA, ARM, CERA, FRM, CRM, or CPCU preferred
- Ability to perform essential functions and physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire
