About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Receive on-the-job training to learn about project management
Estimate costs, monitor aligned budget categories, work with design teams
Maintain scheduling and ensure a seamless process of projects
Interface with clients, design teams, and construction crews
Ensure projects start and deliver on time
In-field oversight of all phases of a construction project
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
Forecast and monitor schedules for various projects
Work with trade personnel and sub-contractors
Provide direction to subcontractors for quality and safety standards
Perform quality control duties
Arrange for material and equipment deliveries
Coordinate execution site inspections with local municipalities

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
2-3 years of experience in the construction field, preferably with carpentry
Ability to travel up to 60-70% annually including air travel
Desire to travel nationwide
Must be able to work schedules that include: day, evening, overnights, and weekends
A proven problem solver and team player
