About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive on-the-job training to learn about project management
- Estimate costs, monitor aligned budget categories, work with design teams
- Maintain scheduling and ensure a seamless process of projects
- Interface with clients, design teams, and construction crews
- Ensure projects start and deliver on time
- In-field oversight of all phases of a construction project
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
- Forecast and monitor schedules for various projects
- Work with trade personnel and sub-contractors
- Provide direction to subcontractors for quality and safety standards
- Perform quality control duties
- Arrange for material and equipment deliveries
- Coordinate execution site inspections with local municipalities
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- 2-3 years of experience in the construction field, preferably with carpentry
- Ability to travel up to 60-70% annually including air travel
- Desire to travel nationwide
- Must be able to work schedules that include: day, evening, overnights, and weekends
- A proven problem solver and team player
