About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support veterinarian recruiting from application through interview, offer, and onboarding
- Communicate with candidates and provide timely follow-ups
- Schedule interviews, onboarding activities, and candidate touchpoints across teams and time zones
- Maintain accurate candidate records, statuses, and documentation in recruiting and operational systems
- Collect required documents, licensing information, contracts, and pre-activation requirements
- Support candidate questions and hiring/onboarding activities with the Talent Operations Specialist and internal teams
- Assist with recruiting outreach and sourcing across different states
- Contribute to recruiting and onboarding projects and process improvements
- Track and report recruiting and onboarding metrics
- Support Talent Operations projects and initiatives for Dutch’s veterinary network
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent operations, healthcare operations, customer operations, or a similar role
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and workflows simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems and tools
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, scheduling tools, or other recruiting/operations software
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams across a growing organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in veterinary telemedicine and evolving telehealth regulations
- Experience with recruiting in a startup or high-growth environment (bonus)
- Veterinary industry experience (a plus)
- Having a pet (bonus)
