About the role

  • Proactive identification, outreach and acquisition of new B2B customers in the take-away and ready-meals sector
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships with a focus on sustainable cooperation
  • Developing tailored packaging solutions in close coordination with product development and technical teams
  • Analyzing individual customer needs and preparing suitable solutions — from initial consultation through to contract signing
  • Preparing and negotiating proposals as well as active contract management
  • Conducting market and competitor analyses to develop strategic initiatives
  • Presenting our portfolio (including Duniform) at trade shows, industry events and through targeted networking
  • Promoting sustainable packaging solutions that combine ecological responsibility with economic efficiency
  • Supporting basic service and maintenance tasks on site at customer locations
  • Maintaining sales data, regular reporting and contributing to internal improvement processes
  • Cross-functional collaboration with field sales, inside sales and customer service across Switzerland to ensure seamless customer support and efficient coordination

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience — preferably in food packaging or a related field; experience in the hospitality sector is a plus but not required
  • Passion for customer-specific solutions, strong closing skills and persuasive ability
  • Good sense of market and customer trends, combined with strategic vision
  • Solid technical understanding or willingness to quickly learn technical topics (e.g., Duniform sealing technology)
  • Fluent in German and business-level French; basic knowledge of English
  • Promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and values open communication
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented and sociable — with a "hunter" mentality and genuine enthusiasm for growth and innovation
