About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete four nine-month rotational assignments within the Real Estate Associate Program
- Support portfolio and space planning
- Support real estate transactions and lease administration
- Gain exposure to facilities and workplace strategy in partnership with Facilities Management
- Support project management and capital planning
- Support real estate analytics, governance, and business support
- Support real estate strategies balancing cost, risk, compliance, and business needs
- Collaborate across Supply Chain, Facilities, Finance, Legal, and business partner teams
- Develop skills and prepare to deploy into a real estate role aligned with business need and individual strengths
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience
- Previous Duke Energy internship or co-op experience
- High School/GED with 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- Master's degree preferred
- Exposure to real estate, facilities, project management, finance, or analytics coursework preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
- Travel requirements of 15–25%
