About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with teams using human-centered design principles, methods and technologies to deliver customer value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, data science or related major
  • Duke Energy internship or co-op experience
  • Demonstrated servant-leadership in nontraditional ways
  • Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
  • Strong initiative and self-organization
  • Design thinking facilitation
  • User research activities and implementation
  • Human-centered value-driven prioritization techniques
  • Proficient public speaking skills
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Openness, approachability, collaborative nature, and enjoyment working with passionate people
  • Learner mindset and natural curiosity
  • Proactive problem-solving
  • Ability to meet an individual or team where they are and help them succeed
  • Professional judgment on when to ask for help
  • Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
