About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide enterprise-level support for infrastructure and business application technologies, including workstations, servers, storage, mobile devices, and software
Integrate software to enable usage, support, and monitoring of hardware technologies
Develop and maintain routine work procedures
Define standard installation and upgrade methodologies
Evaluate, acquire, install, and integrate technology components
Perform integration testing, component upgrades, and performance monitoring

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Duke Energy internship or co-op experience
1–2 years of computer skills, including general usage and support
Ability to thoroughly document work processes and adhere to processes
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including listening, conflict management, approachability, and negotiation
Ability to prioritize activities and focus team efforts based on priority
Ability to research independently, multitask, and meet deadlines under tight timeframes
Ability to build working relationships across different organizational levels
Ability to work effectively in a work-plan-driven team environment
Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
