About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide accounting, financial, tax analysis and/or reporting support for the Finance Group
- Work closely with teammates on various finance activities including compiling tax, finance and/or accounting data
- Perform computations and complete various documentation and/or input forms
- Use various tax, budgeting and accounting software technologies
- Interface with others in and outside of the department
- Conduct or assist with tasks such as monthly journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Analyze and research ad-hoc requests and reporting
- Prepare regulatory and tax filings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Ability to possess and apply fundamental accounting and finance concepts, practices, and procedures
- Masters in Accounting or MBA
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- GPA of 3.5 highly desired
- Previous relevant internship or co-op experience desired
- Demonstrates leadership through on-campus or extracurricular activities
- 0-2 years of work experience in related field in addition to degree
